Playing a 5000-person game of laser tag with real tanks and real soldiers requires serious mobile sensor fusion and data management. At the request of the US Army and Raytheon, a team of Portland-based engineers has created the newest generation of the Range Data Management System and is inviting other applications of its technology. The talk will review he original application, system capabilities, and the building-block approach that could rapidly address a new application.
