WorkSystems, Inc is supporting a free entrepreneurship program for engineers that want to start their own company. The program is called the FastTrac® TechVenture™ entrepreneurship program. The Director of the Oregon Technology Business Center (OTBC), Steven Morris, says "We have only a limited number of seats, so if you live in Washington or Multnomah county, are a dislocated engineer, and have a burning desire to start a company, consider applying! This is a very good deal." The FastTrac® TechVenture™ entrepreneurship program is fully funded by Worksystems, Inc., so there will be no cost to the participants. The requirement is that participants be dislocated engineers who live in either Multnomah or Washington county and have an idea for a tech start-up. Before the start of the program, participants must submit an application by March 11th and be registered with a WorkSource center. There's more info online at:
