Advice to Email Applicants for Senior IEEE Membership

a.k.a - How can you be upgraded without a Rodeo event?

1. Fill out the attached Senior Member Application form
1. Everything except who your references will be.
1. Unless you have some IEEE Senior Grade references
2. Send your references a copy of the form discussed below.
3. If you have no references, no worries. Read on.
2. Make sure to fill out the sections titled:
1. Professional Experiance and
2. Significant Performance
2. Fill in the pertinent information on the attached
1. Senior Member Grade Reference form
3. One electronic copy (soft copy) of your resume
1. Especially one that highlights publications and other contributions to IEEE
2. Or highlights other contributions to Electrical Engineering
4. Attach the above three items and email them to bconley@ieee.org
1. Even if you don't know or have two people lined up to be your reference.
2. The IEEE Oregon Section Senior Grade References will:
1. extract information from your resume and
2. write wonderful things about you.

You will be notified when your complete application has been received by IEEE. This may take several weeks after that to finally complete. Please also include your phone number in your email in the unlikely case there are questions or further information is needed.
