becomes more necessary for designers to understand the methodologies to
close control loops in software. This course covers the elements of the
ubiquitous PID (proportional-integral-derivative) controller as it is
implemented on a microcontroller in software.

Ballots for the 2008 IEEE Annual Election were mailed to
all eligible voting IEEE members via first class on Friday,
25 July 2008. Ballots may be accessed electronically at
https://www.directvote.net/ieee/.
To authenticate access,
members may use their IEEE Web Account username/
password, or the Control Number and e-signature located
on their paper ballot to access the information
The IEEE Annual Election will end on Wednesday, 1 October
2008, at 12:00 p.m. CDT (10:00 p.m. PDT). Ballots
received after the deadline will not be counted. For more
