Overview
In this one day course, Peter Rysavy of Rysavy Research provides a fundamental understanding of how different wide-area wireless networks function, their latest and forthcoming advances, their market realities and how best to take advantage of them. Technologies include 3G cellular systems such as EDGE, CDMA2000 (1XRTT, 1XEV-DO, 1XEV-DV), UMTS, HSDPA and emerging technologies such as evolved 3G systems and WiMAX (IEEE 802.16-2004, IEEE 802.16e).
